For those comments concerning the low output engine ....In the Czech republic were this boat is located there are no lakes or rivers large enough to run high speeds.
That boat will run 70mph with 90hp engine

Why would anyone put a 130 horse Evinrude on an Allison? This boat should have a bare minimum of 200 horse but I'd rather see a 300XS hanging off the rear of it. That boat is crying for a Merc...

Where do you guys find insurance for your Allison boats. Im looking to buy an SS2000 and no insurance company will accept it.thanks.
Get that Allison on the pad and let it eat... I saw a bunch of chine walking. I've driven Allison boats for years, XR2001's, XB2002's. That boat isn't trimmed out near enough to truly get on the pad like it's supposed to be driven. Nice boat though!
What causes all the chine walk? Boat design? Single deep-v hull? How is it corrected? I am restoring an old '68 Tahiti runabout, and this is one area that concerns me. Trim tabs?

Sorry to say it but if you want top end in a boat there is only one game in town, Mercury because BRP Evinrude is not interested in racing but they do make great engines for fishing boats and pontoon boats.

Beautiful hull, but hanging a 130HP off the back is almost unheard of. 200HP should be bare minimum and my bet is majority Allison owners rocking 250HP+++. Give this boat the OB it deserves!

BRP`S EVINRUDE`S today,,is the f best engine there is...Mercs are good to..But
it's just preference. I have had several manufacturers on my bass boats. I prefer Yamaha.
Merc and Yamaha are the best in that order but Evinrude was so good it has gone out of business again.

They are Mercury fans and would rather see a Merc. There is nothing wrong with the 'Rude. They just prefer the other brand. Although Allison set the speed record with an Evinrude, not a Mercury.
